      I have been turning bowls since I was just a lad.  My adventures began on a fifties vintage Delta lathe that my father bought from our neighbor.  After college I began turning more and soon out grew my little 12 inch Delta.  I answered an add in the It's Classifieds for a bowl lathe.  My woodturning kind of exploded at that point.  Not only did I buy an awesome old beast of a lathe with a 20 inch capacity, but I was introduced to the Granite State Woodturners.  The group of New Hampshireites gets together every other  month to share information on everything having to do with wood turning and has been a huge resource to me.  Their yearly critique meeting has been the most helpful of all.  In addition I was introduced to the Vermont Wood Manufacturers Association which has been a great resource for marketing my work.

      I have logged hundreds of hours over the lathe.  Each piece that comes off  the lathe is my best work yet.  I try to focus on form and function and all the different relationships of the different parts of  the bowl.  I llike thin bowls !  Take a gander at the products page to see some of my work.
